La Marzocco

LA MARZOCCO TRADESHOW ENVIRONMENT
SCAA 2016/17

"Quality means doing it right when no one is looking".

Named after the symbol of Florence, Italy – the lion – La Marzocco has been the leader in espresso machine innovations since 1927 – with the first double boiler, the first saturated grouphead, the first to commercially use PID controllers, and the first to introduce fully programmable pressure profiling.
Since the 1980’s, La Marzocco has helped to build the specialty coffee community into the robust, quality-driven industry it is today.

Partnered with DoE and Footprint Exhibits, I worked as the lead designer on this project from sketch phase thru build completion. This included various stages and review with the marketing team at LM, while value engineering the build cost with Footprint (builder). We provided initial sketches, various development renders and CAD models, and final build drawings.

Each side of this booth needed to represent a different category of espresso machines offered from La Marzocco : Commercial, and Home.

Details and material usage help to distinguish the two categories, each side with working espresso stations, plumbing, and display opportunities for various products. The result was a show-stopping booth that elevated and accurately represented each brand; La Marzocco Home and La Marzocco (Commercial).
